Techline uses only Creapure Creatine Creatine

What is Creatine?
Creatine is an essential, natural substance required for energy metabolism and muscular movement. The human body synthesizes creatine from 3 amino acids: glycine, arginine and methionine. Dietary creatine is found mainly in meat, fish, and other animal products and is stored primarily in muscle tissue.

How does Creatine work?
Creatine plays a very important role in energy metabolism as a muscle fuel. The immediate energy source for muscle contraction is from a molecule called ATP (adenosine triphosphate). ATP is the only molecule the body uses for energy. Fuel sources such as carbohydrates, fats and proteins must be converted to ATP in the body before they can be used for energy. ATP is a simple chemical consisting of one molecule of adenosine and three molecules of phosphate. When ATP releases its energy to fuel muscle contractions, a phosphate group is split off and a new molecule is formed- ADP (adenosine diphosphate). Phosphocreatine then combines with the ADP changing it back into ATP where it is ready again to release energy to fuel muscle contractions.

Creatine Supplementation
With creatine supplementation, more ATP is available which allows an athlete to train harder, longer and faster.

General Guidelines for Creatine Supplementation
Each rounded teaspoon of Techline Creapure Creatine Powder provides 5 grams (5000mg) of pure creapure creatine. Mix one rounded teaspoon in 16 ounces of water or carbohydrate solution such as grape juice for increased absorption. For best results, it is recommended that you cycle your creatine supplementation as follows:
•Loading Phase: Take one rounded teaspoon (5 grams) of creatine 4 times a day for 5 days.
•Maintenance Phase: After completion of the loading phase, take one rounded teaspoon (5 grams) one to two times a day for eight weeks. Follow this by four weeks of no creatine supplementation, then repeat the cycle.

Athletes using creatine should consume adequate amounts of water to maximize hydration and enhance metabolic functions.

Why does Techline Creatine Powder say “Creapure”? (Not All Creatine is the Same!)
All creatine is not created equal! While many creatine products look exactly alike, there are major differences in the quality of products. There are three main impurities that may exist in inferior creatine product: creatinine (CRN), dicyandianide (DCD), and dihydrotriazine (DHT). Testing for creatine purity is accomplished by using a method called High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). The majority of companies only conduct this test for creatine. They do not test for the CRN, DCD or DHT impurities. Futhermore, there is a margin of error of +/- 4% on HPLC creatine tests. Therefore a creatine product that boasts a purity level of 99% can still contain CRN, DCD and DHT impurities. SKW Trostberg AG, a German company, is the patent processing holder and leading manufacturer of creatine products worldwide. SKW produces creatine under the trademark name Creapure. Creapure uses HPLC testing for purity along with additional tests for any impurities. The result is a product that is guaranteed to be free of impurities and manufacturing by-products. Techline Creatine Powder uses only Creapure products.
